Yachting Gives Back

Founded in 2019 by Nick Entwisle, Yachting Gives Back is a charity that mobilizes the yachting community to combat poverty and hunger in Mallorca. The organization collects food, toiletries, and other necessities from yachts and distributes them to local charities. With a central collection point at STP Shipyard, YGB operates three mornings a week, encouraging donations of non-perishable food and personal hygiene products. The charity has grown significantly, supported by the generosity of yacht crew and service businesses, and has become a vital resource for those in need on the island. YGB's efforts have been recognized with awards, including the Bowsprit Award in 2024, highlighting its impact and the community's commitment to helping those less fortunate. The team consists of volunteers from various backgrounds in the yachting industry, all dedicated to making a difference in their local community.
