How to Use YACHTNEEDS marketplace

A simple, step-by-step guide for yacht crew, captains, and boat or yacht owners

1. 🔐 Creating an Account (or Logging In)

Why?
An account helps you track orders, save delivery addresses, and shop faster next time. But don’t worry — you can always checkout as a guest if you prefer. Please note: we DO NOT store any valuble information such as creditc ard details.

How to do it:

  1. Go to yachtneeds.com

  2. At the top right, click Log In / Create Account

  3. If you’re new:

    • Choose Create Account

    • Enter your name, email, and password

    • Click Create

  4. If you already have an account:

    • Enter your email and password

    • Click Log In

You will receive an email to verify your account and ..... that’s it — your account is ready. 

 

 

2. 🔎 Browsing the Marketplace

With hundreds of thousands of products, the easiest ways to find what you need are:

✔️ Use the Search Bar

Type things like:

  • “Fenders”

  • “Deck cleaner”

  • “Impeller kit”

  • “Blackwater treatment”

  • "boat show baskets"

The search bar auto-suggests products as you type or enter the part code for a simplifed search

✔️ Browse Categories

If you’re not exactly sure what you need, explore via the main menu categories like:

  • yacht cleaning products

     

  • yacht care essentials

  • marine cleaning supplies

  • deck cleaning products

  • engine room cleaning products

  • yacht interior cleaning

  • marine polish & wax

  • stainless steel cleaner for yachts

✔️ Filters & Sorting

Once inside a category, you can filter by brand, size, color, material, etc.
You can also sort by:

  • Price

  • Relevance

  • Newest

This helps you narrow thousands of products to just a few relevant ones.

 

 

3. 📦 Opening a Product Page

Click any product to open its page. Here you’ll see:

  • Product photos

  • Full product description

  • Technical details

  • Specifications

  • Brand

  • Price

  • Stock availability

If something is missing, you can always contact support — YACHTNEEDS works with many suppliers and can often source items that aren’t listed. Contact customer support here

 

 

4. ➕ Adding Items to Your Cart

Once you’ve found what you need:

  1. Choose the quantity

  2. Confirm any options (size, colour, variant)

  3. Click Add to Cart

Your cart lives at the top right of the page and updates automatically.

 

 

5. 🛒 Reviewing Your Cart

Click the Cart icon to review everything before checkout.
Inside the cart you can:

  • Update quantities

  • Remove items

  • See prices and totals

  • Apply any discount codes (if enabled)

When you’re ready, hit Checkout.

 

 

6. 🧭 Checking Out (Account or Guest)

YACHTNEEDS lets you checkout in two ways:

Option A — Logged-in Checkout

Fast and easy if you have an account.
Your saved address and details autofill.

Option B — Guest Checkout

No login needed.
Just enter:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Delivery address

  • Payment details

Perfect for one-off purchases.

 

 

7. 🚚 Shipping Details

Enter your delivery address and select from available delivery options.
Depending on your location, you may see:

  • Standard shipping

  • Express courier

 

Tip for crew:
Use your current marina or next confirmed marina as the delivery address.

 

 

8. 💳 Payment

Choose your preferred payment method.
Enter your card details or checkout using the available payment partners.

Once you’re done, click Place Order or Pay Now. We accept all major credit card, Pay Pal and if you prefer bank transfer - contact customer support.

 

 

9. 📧 Order Confirmation

Right after payment you’ll see an order confirmation page.
You’ll also receive an email with:

  • Order summary

  • Products

  • Total paid

  • EST delivery

  • Contact info for support

If you created an account, you can track your order in My Account → Orders.
