Yacht Club Costa Smeralda

Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS), established on May 12, 1967, by His Highness the Aga Khan IV and others, is a non-profit sports association aimed at uniting members who love the sea and nautical sports. Renowned for organizing international regattas for superyachts, maxi yachts, and one-design boats, YCCS is a hub for sailing enthusiasts. The club also emphasizes sustainability, having launched the One Ocean Foundation in 2017 to protect marine environments. The YCCS Sailing School, recognized by the Italian Sailing Federation, offers training led by experienced instructors. The club's vibrant social scene is centered around Piazza Azzurra, which hosts various events and provides amenities such as restaurants and a wellness center. YCCS continues to be a prominent player in the sailing community, hosting events like the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta and the Rolex TP52 World Championship.
