The company has successfully demonstrated its systems on various sea-going vessels, including the Race for Water yacht. Currently, the SkySails propulsion system is operational on the MS Porrima, which is part of a program supporting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Although the yacht propulsion system is not actively marketed, SkySails is concentrating on airborne wind energy systems for power production.
