Founded in 2001, Kaleidescape revolutionized home movie viewing by allowing customers to enjoy films at the highest quality with the convenience of digital access. Initially, the company focused on creating systems that imported DVDs to hard drives, enhancing the home viewing experience. With the advent of Blu-ray, Kaleidescape adapted its technology to support HD formats and later launched an online movie store in 2012, becoming the first service to deliver full Blu-ray quality video and audio over the Internet.
