Great Barrier Reef International Marine College

The Great Barrier Reef International Marine College (GBRIMC) is part of TAFE Queensland, located in Portsmith, just south of Cairns. It provides a wide array of training qualifications and certificates tailored for the maritime industry, including AMSA approved short courses and certificate courses from I to IV in maritime operations. The college features modern training facilities, including a 19-metre commercially registered vessel, desktop simulators, and a sea survival training immersion pool.
