Thompson International Airport). The company was born from a vision to enhance aviation services in the Abacos, particularly in response to the growing demand for ground handling and fueling services. After facing significant challenges from Hurricane Dorian in 2019, which devastated their facilities, Cherokee Aviation demonstrated resilience by quickly restoring operations and continuing to evolve with industry trends. Their core services include aircraft fueling, ground handling, and customer support, all underpinned by a commitment to safety and professionalism. The company is recognized for its comprehensive training programs, including NATA Safety 1st certification for all staff, ensuring high standards in ramp safety and customer service. In partnership with Zig Zag Aviation, they have further enhanced their offerings, particularly for commercial airlines, ensuring efficient operations and a seamless experience for all clients. Today, Cherokee Aviation operates the largest ramp and full-service Fixed Base Operation (FBO) at Marsh Harbour, providing a wide range of services to meet the needs of private, corporate, and commercial aircraft.
