Founded in 1988 by Bill and Georgia Schroer, B&G Marine Services has evolved into a leading yacht management and maintenance company in the British Virgin Islands. In 2013, Todd Patterson acquired the company and expanded its offerings to include larger refit projects, in-house metal machining, welding, and a variety of shipwright services. B&G is also known for its mechanical and electrical overhauls, ensuring that clients' vessels are well-maintained and ready for use. In 2017, the company established a service center in Newport, RI, making it the first full-service BVI yacht management company to provide continuity of service in the USA. With a commitment to customer service, B&G opened a third service location in Virginia in May 2022. The company is dedicated to helping clients enjoy their yachts to the fullest, offering services such as private yacht management, storm preparation, and assistance with purchasing and commissioning new vessels.
