This special terrace adhesive mortar – Class C2 is a ready-to-mix single-component hydraulic mortar intended for the installation of paving tiles, natural stones, and opus. After mixing with water, it forms a grey adhesive mortar that offers reliable and durable adhesion suitable for both new work and renovation. It is developed to meet the requirements of modern installation; this adhesive mortar allows the implementation of ceramic and similar coverings on interior walls and floors, on exterior floors, particularly for terraces, and in dry or wet areas (classification EA to EC) in accordance with NF DTU 52.2 and the applicable CPT Renovation.
It is compatible with many accepted substrates, including concrete slabs and ground-level paving, cement-based screeds and anhydrite screeds (after suitable primer), wall concrete and cement renders, cellular concrete blocks, terracotta tiles, plasterboard, or even old tiles indoors after proper preparation. The admissibility of wall substrates depends on the degree of exposure to water. In EB+ and EC areas, certain substrates may be excluded or require prior protection against water.
