The Sikagard-150 Anti Termites Film is a 150-micron polyethylene film incorporating a powerful insecticide developed by Sika to ensure preventive anti-termite protection under foundations and slabs.
Ready to use, this film is easy and quick to install and forms a physico-chemical barrier with a lethal effect preventing any intrusion of termites into the structure. It meets the requirements of the 2nd termite decree no. 2006-591 of 23 May 2006 making its use mandatory in all departments subject to a prefectural order on termites.
The Sikagard®-150 Anti Termites Film is intended to be laid before the pouring of concrete, constituting a continuous and durable barrier for many types of constructions: supported slabs, slabs on crawl spaces, slabs of wooden buildings adjacent to the structure (chalets, garden sheds, above-ground wooden pools...) or even basement slabs.
Its implementation adapts to the characteristics of the building (notably in seismic or non-seismic areas) and must be carried out in accordance with the installation references and the current construction systems to ensure the effectiveness and regulatory compliance of the protection.
