The Sikaflex-708 Construction is a one-component polyurethane sealant developed by Sika for the durable sealing of expansion and connection joints in concrete and masonry facades. It stands out for its excellent application properties and its high movement capacity perfectly suited to the structural constraints of buildings.
This sealant is used for elastic sealing and protection against the elements of movement and connection joints in the envelope of constructions, particularly on concrete and masonry facade elements, heavy or light prefabricated elements, premould joints, and SIFE facades (Facade Insulation Systems with Coating).
The Sikaflex-708 Construction is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Its easy smoothing and good handling allow for quick application and a neat finish even on long joint lengths.
It offers a movement capacity of 25% (ISO 9047) ensuring excellent absorption of expansions and contractions while maintaining good mechanical resistance, long-lasting performance against the elements, and excellent resistance to aging.
