Sikaflex®-591 is a multifunctional sealant based on Sika’s Silane Terminated Polymer (STP) technology, specifically designed for marine applications. It offers excellent resistance against harsh maritime weathering conditions, making it suitable for a wide range of sealing applications. The product is free from isocyanates, solvents, PVC, phthalates, and tin-based catalysts, aligning with environmental and safety standards. Sikaflex®-591 is IMO approved and meets the low spread flame requirements set out by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Materials: Sikaflex®-591 is formulated without isocyanates, solvents, PVC, phthalates, and tin-based catalysts, making it environmentally friendly and safe for use in marine environments.
Compatibility Information: Sikaflex®-591 bonds well to a wide variety of marine substrates, including metals, wood, and plastics. However, it is not suitable for applications with teak wood and plastics that are prone to stress cracking, such as PMMA and PC.
