The Sikaflex-529 Evolution body sealant – 290 ml is a single-component STP sealant developed by Sika that cures under the action of moisture in the air. Specifically designed for the bodywork sector, it is intended for sealing the joints of original structures both on surfaces and in beads.
Its uniqueness lies in its application by spraying with a low mist, ensuring a clean, uniform, and quick job. It can also be applied in a bead, offering great flexibility depending on the type of intervention. The Sikaflex®-529 Evolution allows for faithful reproduction of original structures, facilitating repair or restoration operations after intervention.
It exhibits excellent adhesion on the majority of substrates used in bodywork, such as metal primers, varnishes, bare or painted metals, as well as many plastics. Once applied, the treated surfaces benefit from increased resistance to stone chipping while ensuring effective damping of vibrations and noise.
Paintable with different painting systems, this sealant integrates perfectly with bodywork finishes. It is also distinguished by its low odour, ease of application, and compliance with current environmental requirements.
