The marine adhesive sealant Sikaflex-292i – White – 300 ml is a high-strength one-component polyurethane sealant developed by Sika specifically designed for structural assemblies in marine environments subjected to high dynamic and mechanical stresses.
Perfectly suited for demanding applications, this adhesive guarantees a very high-strength bond for heavily stressed elements such as the flybridge brackets, gunwale rails, or fittings on the hull. It effectively absorbs shocks, tensile forces, vibrations, and expansions while maintaining the integrity of the substrates even when exposed to the elements and seawater.
The Sikaflex-292i offers excellent adhesion on a wide range of materials used in shipbuilding, including metals, anodised aluminium, ceramics, and plastics such as GRP and ABS. Its ability to be applied in thick joints allows for compensation of substrate irregularities and effectively fills gaps.
Paintable after curing, it integrates perfectly with the boat's finishes. Its formulation is solvent-free and has low VOC emissions, meeting current environmental requirements while ensuring durability and performance.
