Check that the surfaces to be bonded are perfectly in contact without applying any pressure or with negligible pressure. Apply the tape in several strips to the desired length. For vertical bonding applications, apply the tape in the vertical direction. Press the applied tape to ensure complete contact with the substrate. Remove the red release film and place the object or element to be bonded. The bonding strength increases gradually as the adhesive migrates onto the bonded surfaces. The increase in adhesion strength depends on the tape, the substrates, and the temperature. At room temperature, about 50% of the final adhesion strength will be reached after 30 minutes. The final performance level indicated will be achieved after a bonding period of 24 to 72 hours at 23 °C. The higher the temperature, the faster the bonding strength increases.
