SikaBond-152 is a single-component parquet adhesive with SMP technology designed for the cord gluing of solid and engineered parquet with tongue and groove. Compliant with the requirements of the REACH regulation, this solution combines flexibility, immediate adhesion, and excellent groove retention to facilitate installation while ensuring a durable bond.
Ready to use and easy to implement, this adhesive is suitable for direct application on the floor as well as for acoustic installation in conjunction with SikaLayer underlays. Its elastic formulation effectively absorbs the natural movements of wood and helps maintain the stability of the parquet over time. Compatible with many wood species, it can be used on various substrates such as concrete, cement screeds or calcium sulfate, OSB boards, plywood, particle boards, as well as old tiles.
SikaBond-152 allows for quick re-service of surfaces thanks to efficient drying: the parquet becomes walkable after about 8 hours and can be sanded after 12 hours. When used with suitable acoustic underlays, it also improves the sound comfort of the rooms. This adhesive is also compatible with water-based underfloor heating when used with the SikaLayer PC-3 acoustic underlay.
