Thefibres végétales SIKA SikaCem-50 - For concrete and mortars - 6 doses of 50 g are natural fibres made from micronised cellulose. This product helps improve the resistance to cracking due to plastic shrinkage of concrete, thus reducing the risk of early cracking and can replace, depending on the dosage, anti-cracking mesh (PAF) or micro-synthetic polypropylene fibres. Furthermore, they are eco-friendly as they are created from cellulose derived from wood transformation. This is why they can be an alternative to the use of industrial or metallurgical materials as a treatment against early-age cracking of concrete. Thanks to their fineness, the fibres disperse very easily, thus limiting crazing and cracking due to plastic shrinkage, improving cohesion in the fresh state by limiting the risks of segregation and bleeding, and increasing impact resistance.
Specialising in chemical products, Sika is a leader in the development and manufacturing of systems and products for bonding, sealing, soundproofing, reinforcement, and protection in the construction and automotive industries. Product innovation and excellence in quality and service have been the company's priorities for over 100 years now!
