These marine sealant adhesives SIKA Sikaflex 291i - White - 300ml have very good adhesion and high resistance to saltwater, making them ideal for marine sealing work. With excellent filling properties, once dry they can be painted. The marine sealant is a versatile assembly product used in shipbuilding, suitable for creating flexible and vibration-resistant seals both indoors and outdoors. The Sikaflex®-291i have a strong adhesive power on the main substrates used in shipbuilding: wood, metals, primers and paints (two-component), ceramics, as well as plastics (GRP, etc.). However, they should not be used on plastics prone to stress cracking. These products exhibit low flame spread in accordance with the standards set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
