The Seac Screen Dive Computer is engineered to provide divers with a clear and comprehensive display of all essential dive data. Its large, easy-to-read screen ensures that critical information is accessible at a glance, enhancing safety and convenience during dives.
- Display: Features a large, high-contrast screen measuring 4 x 4.7 cm, protected by a durable rubber housing. The overall dimensions of the computer are 6.7 x 7 cm.
- Adjustable Backlight: Allows customization of contrast, brightness, and backlight duration (from 2 to 60 seconds) to suit various lighting conditions.
- Dive Modes:
- Scuba Mode: Utilizes the Bühlmann ZHL-16C decompression algorithm, supporting one or two gas mixes (air, Nitrox, and other mixes with O₂ up to 99%). Provides audible and visual alarms for decompression stop violations, excessive ascent speed, and exceeding maximum depth limits.
- Gauge Mode: Displays depth and stopwatch for independent dive management, catering to experienced divers.
- Freedive Mode: Tracks surface intervals, dive times, current depth, and maximum depth reached during the session.
- Dive Planner: Simulates and plans dives by displaying No Decompression Limit (NDL) times based on set depth and other input data, including gas mixture and maximum partial pressure of oxygen (PpO₂).
- Logbook: Records up to 40 hours of diving in Scuba/Gauge mode or 18 hours in Freedive mode.
- Data Management: Allows data and firmware updates via USB cable (sold separately). The Seac Dive Manager app is available for free download on the official SEAC website.
- Battery: Operates with a user-replaceable CR2450 non-rechargeable battery. While user-replaceable, it is recommended to contact an authorized SEAC center for battery replacement and to ensure the integrity of the battery compartment's O-ring.
- Depth Rating: Suitable for dives up to a maximum depth of 100 meters.
- Additional Features: Includes No Fly and Desaturation time calculations, maximum altitude warnings, and the option to select between fresh or saltwater environments.
