Originating from Japan, the madai jig slider is becoming increasingly popular along our Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts.
The ease of use of the Sakura Sepia Slider and the wide variety of species it allows you to catch, although sparids are the most affected, are its two main advantages. Sakura offers a sliding version of the Sepia Madai Jig, called “Slider,” which provides certain benefits compared to the fixed version. Indeed, the weighted head and the skirt sink separately, which increases the attractiveness effect on the descent. The animation is simple and consists of a slow linear retrieve or vertical jigging while drifting.
