Product Description

Two-component, self-smoothing epoxy resin designed to protect, renovate, and finish new and old floors. It can be applied on concrete, steel, and wood floors using the POXYFIRST primer.

Main Applications

  • Ideal for industrial floors, garages, exhibition halls, canteens, dairies, laboratories, cutting workshops, milking parlours, and feed corridors

Advantages

Consumption

  • For a self-smoothing coating: with a notched squeegee 3x3x3: thickness of 1 to 1.5 mm and with a notched squeegee 5x5x5: thickness of 2 to 2.5 mm.
  • For a semi-smooth coating: de-bubble and sprinkle with quartz (0.4 / 1.8 or HN 31). After drying, apply a sealing coat with EPOXYFLOORING using a rubber squeegee.
  • For a roller coating: Apply 2 coats with a roller with an interval of 16 hours, at a rate of 0.400 kg/m².

Preparation of Mixture and Application

  1. Ensure that surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or grease.
  2. For better adhesion, apply the POXYFIRST primer.
  3. Mix the two components for 2.5 to 3 minutes with an electric mixer fitted with a helical blade.

Application Conditions and Storage

  • Ambient temperature: 12°C to 35°C.
  • Substrate temperature: 12°C to 25°C.
  • Humidity: must be less than or equal to 5 % for concrete, and 8 % for wood and aggregates.
  • Humidity: max. 75 %.
  • Storage: Keep in an intact package at an ambient temperature between 15°C to 25°C.
  • Shelf life: 12 months.
