The seam hook allows you to remove most of the old caulking/joint present in the grooves. Leaving a minimum of residue for a finish with the sanding block.
Sharpenable on another metal tool.
Before using, incise with a cutter blade along each side of the groove to free the joint.
The joint removal tool is specially designed and manufactured for long life and quick and easy use.
Demonstration of Use
- Before using, slide a cutter blade along each side of the groove to free the caulked joint.
- Finish with the Teakdecking Systems seam sander to remove any residue.
- You can remove most of the caulking, leaving a minimum of material for a final hand sanding with the Teakdecking Systems Joint Sander.
