Product Description
Graphite powder 423 is a fine black powder that can be mixed with epoxy to produce a low-friction, more scratch-resistant and durable exterior coating. Epoxy/graphite is commonly used as a low-load, low-speed bearing surface, as a coating on rudders and daggerboards, or on the bottom of racing boats that run dry. It does not have anti-fouling properties. The epoxy/graphite mixture turns black as it cures.
Usage Instructions
- Add to resin/hardener mixture at 10% by volume or 1.5 tablespoons to 8 fl oz. of epoxy.
- Used as a coating on rudders, daggerboards or bottoms of dry sail racing boats.
Caution
Does not provide antifouling quality.
