It is not necessary to choose a pressure reducer whose diameter is equal to that of the pipe but to determine this diameter using the charts and calculation formulas presented in the technical data sheet.
To ensure good downstream pressure stability and reduce turbulence at the PRV outlet, provide a settling length (straight pipe) of at least 5 x DN and 10 x DN if possible.
