PR Electronics 9113B Ex Temperature / mA Converter. PR Electronics 9113B signal conditioner for the conversion and scaling of temperature (Pt, Ni and TC) and active current signals. The 9113B has been designed, developed and certified for use in SIL 2 applications according to the requirements of IEC 61508. Features and Benefits. Ex temperature / mA converter for input for RTD, TC and mA 1-channel version, stock-no. ; 796-7045 796-7045 2-channel version, stock-no. ; 796-7048 796-7048 Conversion and scaling of temperature (Pt, Ni and TC) and active current signals TC inputs can use either the internal CJC or a terminal with a built-in Pt100 sensor (PR 5910Ex, channel 1 / PR 5913Ex, channel 2) for higher accuracy Active / passive mA output SIL 2-certified via Full Assessment, the functionality is optional and must be activated in a menu point Configuration and monitoring by way of detachable display front (PR 4501); process calibration and signal simulation Copying of the configuration from one device to others of the same type via the display front Please order the Display Front PR4510 separately (stock-no. ; 238-0641 238-0641 ) The device can be mounted in the safe area and in zone 2 / cl. 1 div. 2 and receive signals from zone 0, 1, 2 and zone 20, 21, 22 including M1 / Class I/II/III, Div. 1, Gr. A-G Front LEDs indicate operation status and malfunction 2.6 kVAC galvanic isolation between input, output and supply Can be supplied separately or installed on power rail, PR type 9400. Programming. The 9113B universal transmitters are programmable via the PR 4510 detachable display module ( ; 238-0641 238-0641 ). The 4510 module allows the programming of the vast array of input and output parameters easily and safely. Together with advanced functions including 2-point calibration, process simulation and diagnostics. With a simple menu and explanatory text, the 4510 is extremely straightforward to navigate. Functions are clearly depicted on the 4-line LCD display even in low light conditions. Line 1 shows the input signal, line 2 shows the units, and line 3 shows analogue output or tag number. Line 4 shows the communication and relay status. In addition, the 4510 features password protection. Programming access can be blocked by assigning a password which is conveniently saved in the 9113B transmitter. This ensures a high degree of protection is maintained and prevents any unauthorised modifications to the configuration.
