The PFERD 8004/6 INOX 0.20 Round Brush with Shaft is designed for versatile applications, including cleaning, derusting, smoothing, polishing weld seams, light deburring, and removing corrosion and paint. This brush is particularly effective on stainless steel (INOX) surfaces, utilizing wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) to ensure excellent corrosion resistance and optimal tool life. All PFERD brushes with INOX filaments are color-coded in blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A. The wire quality 1.4310 tends to become ferromagnetic when cold-worked; i.e., it can be attracted using magnets. This change in microstructure does not impact the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament, which remains resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel wire (INOX) withstands temperatures up to 450 °C.
