The PFERD Crimped Wheel Brush RBU 100/10 INOX 0.30 is designed for versatile applications including cleaning, derusting, smoothing, polishing weld seams, light deburring, and removing corrosion and paint. This brush is particularly effective on stainless steel (INOX) surfaces, utilizing wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) to ensure excellent corrosion resistance and optimal tool life. All PFERD brushes with INOX filaments are color-coded in blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A. The wire quality 1.4310 tends to become ferromagnetic when cold-hardened, i.e., it can be attracted using magnets. This change in structure due to deformation (e.g., during the wire drawing process) does not affect the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament; it remains resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel wire (INOX) withstands temperatures up to 450 °C.

Recommendations for Use:

  • Please observe the recommended rotational speeds.
  • For the best results, use a tool drive with a minimum output of 300 W.
  • When clamping the brush, ensure that the shank is clamped as far into the arbor as possible. This applies in particular for use in the high rotational speed range. The minimum clamping length is 10 mm.
