The PFERD Crimped End Brush is designed for light brushing tasks such as deburring, cleaning, and derusting. It features a 20 mm diameter cup with a 6 mm shank and 0.2 mm stainless steel wire filaments. The brush is suitable for use on various materials, including:
- Aluminium
- Bronze
- Cobalt-based alloys
- Hard non-ferrous metals
- High-temperature-resistant materials
- Nickel-based alloys (e.g., Inconel and Hastelloy)
- Nickel or titanium-based superalloys
- Other non-ferrous metals
- Soft titanium alloys (tensile strength up to 500 N/mm²)
- Stainless steel (INOX)
- Titanium
- Titanium alloys
Key Features
- Corrosion Resistance: Constructed with stainless steel wire (INOX), the brush offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), including V4A.
- Temperature Resistance: The stainless steel wire withstands temperatures up to 450°C.
- Magnetic Properties: The wire may become ferromagnetic due to cold working, which does not affect its quality or corrosion resistance.
- Optimal Performance: For best results, use a tool drive with a minimum output of 300 watts.
