The Petzl Meteora Helmet is a lightweight, women's-specific helmet designed for climbing, mountaineering, and ski touring. It features a semi-rigid OMEGA headband with a pronounced notch to accommodate long hair tied in a ponytail. The helmet's In-Mold construction combines an expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam liner with a lightweight polycarbonate shell, resulting in a compact and low-profile design. Large vents provide excellent airflow, ensuring comfort across various activities and seasons. The helmet offers enhanced protection, meeting Petzl's TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION label, and is CE certified for ski touring. It includes two front clips and a rear elastic band for securing a headlamp, and is specifically designed to be worn with ski goggles. Please note, this helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 standard for alpine skiing helmets.
