The ABSORBICA®-I 80 is a single lanyard equipped with a compact energy absorber, designed for progression on horizontal lifelines (rope or cable) or elevated platforms without passing intermediate anchors. It is suitable for users weighing between 60 and 140 kg.
- Energy Absorption: In the event of a fall, the energy absorber's webbing progressively tears, limiting the impact force on the user.
- Minimal Bulk: The compact design of the energy absorber minimizes bulk, ensuring it does not hinder the user during progression.
- Durable Fabric Pouch: A durable fabric pouch with a simple opening system protects the energy absorber from abrasion and contaminants while allowing for regular inspection.
- Installation Options: Depending on usage, the lanyard can be installed on the harness in two ways: Frequent Connection/Disconnection using a carabiner held in the correct position by the STRING positioning accessory (included with the lanyard) or Semi-Permanent Connection using the RING OPEN gated ring, whose circular shape allows optimal positioning.
- Connector Options: The lanyard can be equipped with either a locking carabiner or a large-opening MGO OPEN connector.
