Max Marine RINA type-tested aerosol fire-suppression system consists of a generator module filled with solid extinguishing agent. Upon activation the agent turns into aerosol having few micron particles that disperse into the environment like a gas.The aerosol generated extinguishes the fire by inhibiting the combustion chemical reaction without reducing the content of oxygen present in the protected environment, without generating toxic or corrosive substances and without ozone depletion. This product is eco-friendly.The system has a pull activation device or a remote-controlled electrical activation device as well as an automatic intervention device (thermal wire).This system has several advantages: small size, low weight, easy to install since no piping, no delivery nozzles and no under-pressure containers are required.Max Marine activation and intervention logics are supervised by a control panel having free contacts to stop utilities.Central unit power: 24V.
