Bacterial contamination of diesel is a very serious and complex problem that has become increasingly widespread lately. Unlike "classic diesel sludge" (paraffins, carbon residues, and tars), which are made fluid by Fastol and reintegrated into the fuel, bacterial sludges are only soluble in acids. Just a few ppm of water is enough to promote the growth of such bacteria. The residues produced by the bacterial colony appear in the form of mucilage, algae, mold, or filaments, rapidly increasing and clogging filters and pipes, causing malfunctions and even engine shutdown. Their proliferation also triggers corrosion processes in the tank. ECO-BACT H-Power is a biocide that is enhanced in its active ingredient: while maintaining the effectiveness of the previous formulation, it requires lower doses with very low operating costs. It is soluble in both water and diesel and concentrates in the aqueous phase of the diesel, where the concentration of contamination is highest. ECO-BACT H-Power can be used both to remediate an already contaminated tank and as a periodic treatment for prevention and/or maintenance.
