This compact model is easy to install and operates completely autonomously. Once the mowing area is defined using the provided perimeter wire, the robot navigates intelligently through the garden thanks to its collision, lift, and slope sensors to avoid obstacles and adjust its trajectory according to the terrain configuration. It can handle slopes of up to 30%, making it suitable for the majority of residential terrains.
The Optimow 5 is controlled via an intuitive mobile app (available on iOS and Android) thanks to a Bluetooth connection. You can thus schedule mowing times, adjust cutting parameters, or trigger the robot remotely. Once its battery is low or its task is completed, it automatically returns to its charging station to recharge without any intervention from you.
Its cutting width of approximately 18 cm allows for precise and efficient mowing, while the adjustable cutting height between 20 and 60 mm lets you adapt the result according to your preferences. In operation, the robot remains discreet with a noise level of less than 60 dB, allowing for use at any time without disturbing the neighbourhood.
