Beware, the Okuma Ampere C is not an ordinary rod. It is a powerful tool designed for the most demanding boat fishing: deep-sea fishing, heavy jigging, and targeting the largest marine specimens. Its colossal power of 1000g makes it suitable for use with electric reels and very heavy weights.
Its major innovation lies in its adjustable length blank. Thanks to a telescopic butt section, the rod can be used in a short version (2.10 m) for maximum power and maneuverability during heavy fights, or in a long version (2.80 m) for better line control while drifting and to keep the fish away from the boat.
Built on an almost indestructible carbon and fiberglass composite blank, it is equipped with components that match its power: reinforced double-wrapped guides, an ultra-robust ALPS screw reel seat, and an aluminium fighting butt. It is the ultimate tool for anglers who make no compromises.
