Rinsing an inboard engine and an outboard engine for winter storage? NO SALT completely solubilises salt and protects treated surfaces from rust thanks to its high corrosion inhibiting power. For inboard engines: Close the water inlet valve at the hull. Disconnect the water intake hose, place it in a bucket filled with NO SALT-water solution and run the engine, being careful not to run it dry. For outboard engines: Rinse your engine with fresh water either by connecting it to a water jet using ear muffs (make sure to adjust the jet pressure), or by running it in a bin filled with water. At the end of rinsing, place the water jet in a bucket filled with the NO SALT and water solution at a ratio of 1 litre of product to 5 litres of water and continue to run the engine in the bin filled with the mixture. Stop your engine. In both cases, one to two minutes of rinsing is sufficient.
