The Alp Trainer 2 Mid is an evolving mid-cut hiking shoe for alpine hiking. It features a high-quality durable suede upper and stretch material, as well as a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining providing effective protection while hiking on varied terrain and in different weather conditions. It benefits from a generous rubber toe cap for better protection against rocks and in scree. Designed to ensure comfort from the first steps, it offers a precise wrapping fit and good support. The patented 3F System, with a steel cable, guarantees firm ankle support and good lateral stability, while the Flex Collar increases rear movement range and ankle comfort during descents. Additionally, the SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) customizable insole features interchangeable overlays that allow for further refinement of volume. The mountaineering laces ensure an exact adjustment up to the toes for more precision on technical terrain. Underfoot, the improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking sole, developed exclusively by SALEWA®, offers better performance and greater control on a wide range of mountainous terrains.
