The Millet Alpine Gaiters Dry Edge are high-cut protective gaiters designed for year-round mountaineering, including ice, snow, and mixed terrain, as well as hiking and rope-access work. They offer a leg-hugging fit with a narrow, asymmetric profile near the foot to limit snagging. The gaiters feature a fully waterproof and breathable Dry Edge membrane, ensuring protection against water, mud, snow, and dust. They are foot-specific with differentiated left and right designs and include a plastic stirrup cable for secure attachment underfoot. The front opening has a zipper covered by a Velcro waterproof flap for easy donning and enhanced waterproofing. An elastic cord with a self-locking mechanism allows for upper gaiter adjustment, and a mid-height elastic support provides additional stability. Reinforced edges enhance durability, and the sealing elastic covers the entire shoe for comprehensive protection. The gaiters are compatible with all types of mountaineering, trekking, and hiking shoes.
