The major innovations concern the cut of the suit, which is now very anatomical, with pre-shaped legs and arms. The resulting comfort during diving is very high since during finning, the limbs are in a truly natural position.
The jacket is made of 5 mm neoprene lined on both sides, with a closure at the groin level using snap buttons. The face contour and neck area are made of neoprene lined on one side to ensure comfort and minimize water entry. The pre-shaped arms allow the limbs to be kept, without any effort, in a very natural semi-flexed position. The bib pants, although made of 5 mm neoprene lined on both sides, have a zipper closure at the top front to facilitate dressing. In the knee/ankle area, there are anti-wear reinforcements. The pre-shaped legs facilitate movement by allowing the slight flexion that the leg must adopt during finning in a natural way. At the wrists and ankles, there is a fine trim of 1.5 mm neoprene lined on one side that makes it easier to put on the suit.
Who is it intended for?
The new Medas is the classic universal 5 mm suit, suitable for diving in temperate waters and also usable in cold water with the addition of an undersuit. The new anatomical cut guarantees excellent comfort even during prolonged use. The very reasonable purchase price, the careful cut, and the usual attention to detail make it a highly appreciated and widespread model among divers worldwide. It is one of the most distributed suits in dive centers. It is also perfect for rental.
