LOCTITE® EA 3471 is a two-part, non-sagging, steel-reinforced epoxy repair putty that cures to a metal-like finish. It is designed for easy application without the need for heating or welding and can be machined, drilled, tapped, or filed after curing. This product is ideal for repairing non-structural defects in castings, making jigs and fixtures, sealing vessels, tanks, and valves, resurfacing worn air seals, and filling cavitated areas. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -30°C to +105°C (-22°F to 221°F).

LOCTITE® EA 3471 is compatible with various metal substrates, including steel, cast iron, aluminum, bronze, copper, and stainless steel. It is not recommended for use in pure oxygen systems, oxygen-rich systems, or as a sealant for chlorine and other strong oxidizing materials.
