LOCTITE® 401 is a one-part, surface-insensitive, fast-fixturing instant adhesive designed for the assembly of a wide range of materials where uniform stress distribution and high tensile and/or shear strength are required. It provides high shear strength on a variety of substrates, including metals, plastics, elastomers, and porous materials such as wood, paper, leather, and fabric.

  • Universal Industrial Instant Adhesive: Suitable for bonding similar or dissimilar substrates, including metals, rubber, wood, cardboard, ceramics, and most plastics.
  • Very High Strength on Close-Fitting Parts: Ideal for applications requiring uniform stress distribution and high tensile and/or shear strength.
  • Reduced Hazardous Ingredients: Formulated with reduced hazardous ingredients for improved occupational safety.
  • Fast Fixture Time: Offers a fixture time of approximately 5 seconds on steel substrates.
  • Low Viscosity: Features a viscosity of 100 mPa·s (cP), allowing for easy application on close-fitting parts.

Technical Specifications:
