LOCTITE® 271 is a high-strength, low-viscosity, red, anaerobic-curing threadlocking adhesive designed to prevent fastener loosening due to heavy shock and vibration. It is suitable for all metal fasteners, including brass, steel, and stainless steel, and can tolerate slight contaminations of industrial oils. The product fluoresces under UV light, facilitating quality control inspections.
