LOCTITE® 222 is a low-strength threadlocker designed for the locking and sealing of small fasteners under 6.35 mm (1/4") in diameter. It prevents loosening from shock and vibration and is removable with hand tools. Ideal for low-strength threadlocking of adjustment screws, countersunk head screws, and set screws, it is particularly suited for small thread sizes up to 6.35 mm. The product works on most metals without primer, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces. It also cures through light coatings of corrosion prevention oils without requiring cleaning of the parts.
