Here is the solution to make your tank usable again. Step no. 1 : Put D.O5/11 in the tank. The amount used corresponds to one-tenth of your tank, which is 7 litres of D.05/11 for a 70-litre water tank. Allow the product to act for about thirty minutes; D.O5/11 will micronise the diesel. Completely drain the tank. And rinse twice with fresh water. Step no. 2 : Refill with water and add KILBACTE at a rate of 100 ml for 50 litres of water. Drain again while circulating the water in the boat with all the taps open. Step no. 3 : Fill the tank one last time by adding KILBACTE while respecting the normal dosage (i.e., 1 dose of 25ml for 100 litres of water). The water has lost its diesel smell and can be used again.
