The Julien high temperature black aerosol paint restores or decorates any object or surface exposed to heat (but not directly to flames): barbecues, stoves, exhaust pipes (except catalytic), fire grates, spotlights. Resistant up to 600°, the Julien high temperature aerosol paint can be used indoors as well as outdoors.
- Surfaces must be sound, clean, dry, rust-free, and degreased with acetone.
- Mask the areas to be protected with, for example, newspaper and adhesive tape.
- Wait for the surfaces to cool down before proceeding.
- Shake the aerosol well for 2 minutes before applying (you should hear the sound of the mixing balls).
- Spray in thin, crossed layers with a wide and steady motion on the areas to be painted from a distance of 25-30 cm.
- Do not paint surfaces exposed to flames.
- Hold the aerosol upright.
- Shake regularly during application.
- Apply several thin layers rather than one thick layer.
- Allow to dry for 10 minutes to the touch and 24 hours for full depth.
- A second coat can be applied after 5 to 10 minutes. The final hardening of the paint will occur during the first heating (at least 24 hours after application).
- Use the aerosol in dry weather, sheltered from the wind, in a well-ventilated area.
- Store the aerosol in a dry place.
- Only use the aerosol for its intended purpose.
- Self-cleaning valve.
