The Julien 400ml aerosol gloss varnish "Excellence décor" is a very high-quality varnish that can be applied indoors and outdoors. It covers paints and gilding to enhance durability over time, stabilise the patina, or revive the colour. It protects against oxidation and beautifies most non-ferrous metals (copper, brass, etc.). It is ideal for achieving a flawless finish and a quick result when using a brush is difficult or impossible.
- Surfaces must be clean, dry, dust-free, rust-free, and degreased.
- Ensure that the paint is completely dry before applying the varnish.
- For non-ferrous metals: degrease with a strong solvent such as acetone.
- For better adhesion on aluminium, for example, sand the surface.
- Shake the aerosol well for 2 minutes before applying (you should hear the mixing balls).
- Spray in a wide and even motion on the areas to be painted from a distance of 25-30 cm.
- Hold the aerosol upright.
- Shake regularly during application.
- Apply several thin coats rather than one thick coat.
- Allow to dry for 10 minutes to the touch and 24 hours for full depth.
- Mask off any areas to be protected if necessary.
- Use the aerosol in dry weather, sheltered from the wind, in a well-ventilated area.
- Apply the coats one after the other without any waiting time.
- Store the aerosol in a dry place.
- Only use the aerosol for its intended purpose.
- Self-cleaning valve.
