With its assisted braking, anti-panic handle, and adaptability to all diameters of single rope, the Grigri+ from Petzl is designed for all climbers, indoors or outdoors. The multiplication of the handle offers exceptional control of the descent. Particularly suitable for learning, the Grigri+ features an anti-panic handle and a specific mode allowing for more comfortable top-rope belaying. The gesture is identical to a classic system, with belaying done with both hands on the rope. Stopping a fall is achieved by gripping the free strand with the hand. Compatible with all single ropes on the market, optimized for diameters between 8.9 and 10.5mm. Usage diagrams are engraved on the device. Great durability for intensive use, thanks to the stainless steel reinforcement plate. Very progressive control of the rope ensuring comfort during descent.
