The GEN II stuffing box is equipped with a stainless steel spring AISI-316 that provides a constant pressure on the sealing surfaces. To compensate for any slight misalignment, the sealing ring is mounted on the shaft and is in constant contact with the graphite gasket surface, preventing any water passage. As there is no metal-to-metal contact, any possibility of electrolysis is eliminated.
