Epifanes PP Varnish Extra is a two-component, high-gloss varnish designed for both interior and exterior wooden surfaces. It combines rapid drying with exceptional impact, abrasion, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for applications requiring a quick build-up of layers. This varnish is particularly effective as an insulation base coat, sealer, or filling coat for one-component or two-component synthetic or polyester-based varnish systems. Additionally, it serves as an excellent insulating sealer for oily woods such as teak and iroco.

Compatibility Information:
- Surface Preparation: Bare wood should be free of grease and contaminants. Degrease with Epifanes Spray Thinner for Paint & Varnish. Sand the wood with 60 to 80 grit sandpaper along the grain, followed by 100 to 220 grit sandpaper.
- Topcoating: For maximum UV resistance in exterior applications, it is recommended to topcoat with two or more coats of Epifanes Clear Gloss Varnish, Epifanes Woodfinish Gloss, or Epifanes Polyurethane Clear Gloss.
