Sikaflex®-292i is a one-component, non-sag, thixotropic polyurethane adhesive designed for structural bonding in marine applications. It cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, forming a durable bond that withstands high dynamic loads and harsh environmental conditions. This adhesive is particularly suitable for bonding metals, including aluminum (even anodized finishes), metal primers, paint coatings (two-component systems), ceramic materials, and various plastics such as GRP (unsaturated polyester resin) and ABS. It is recommended for experienced professional users, and prior testing on original substrates is advised to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
