DAIWA CERTATE SW G 2021
After its LT and LT ARK versions, the Certate is now available in SW (Salt Water).
The Certate is a reel highly appreciated by sea anglers and is now a reference in terms of compact, powerful, and robust spinning reels. A true replacement for the Catalina, the Certate SW is equipped with a Monocoque body, just like the Saltiga 20. This unique one-piece structure machined from aluminium provides the Certate SW with strength and great robustness. The Monocoque Body also allows the reel to be fitted with a large Tough Digigear drive gear, featuring a high number of teeth for a significant power gain. Another common point with the Saltiga 20: the ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) drag clicker is very loud, allowing the angler to adjust the knob with precision, not to mention the increased pleasure of fishing. Sensations guaranteed! Thanks to its ZAION carbon Air Rotor, the rotation of the reel is smoothed out, lighter: a real comfort gain for enthusiasts of heavy fishing. A Magsealed bearing in the pick-up roller as well as the Magsealed oil present around the main axis of the reel improve the Certate SW's resistance to corrosive salt elements. During retrieval, the comfort of rotation is unique. In combat, the roller offers perfect fluidity to not disturb the progressiveness of the ATD drag. The fast ratio models (H and XH models) are equipped with a soft-touch oval handle that provides great grip for confidently and comfortably battling the largest specimens. The slow ratio models (P models) are fitted with a round EVA handle, particularly suited for vertical fishing. The Certate SW thus stands as a perfect compromise between the Saltiga 20 and the Certate LT 19. It is a front-drag reel designed for active and fast casting fishing. Perfect for facing tunas on our coasts and for exotic fishing of powerful fish: tunas, jacks, etc.
